Packers Sign Former Arena League Player to Practice Squad

After Chris Banjo was promoted to the Green Bay Packers active roster last week, the team has replaced one safety with another on the practice squad.

The Packers signed former Arena Football League player Jean Fanor to the practice squad on Tuesday.

A product of Bethune-Cookman, Fanor was originally signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2012 but was released near the end of training camp.

Fanor spent the 2013 and 2014 seasons with the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena League, where he set a franchise record with 128.5 tackles in 18 games this past season. He will wear No. 20 with the Packers.

I had high hopes for Colt. He has the physical skills, just a victim of poor judgment. Ask Cutler how that's working out for HIM.

If possible, I always like to hear a few basic measureables like height, weight, age. Here is what it said on his Arena league bio.

Hometown:
Miami, FL

Height / Weight:
6-1 / 205

Birthdate:
06/17/1989
