Packers Reportedly Sign OG Jordan McCray to Practice Squad

The Green Bay Packers reportedly signed offensive lineman Jordan McCray to the practice squad, according to the Twitter account of the FXFL, the Fall Experimental Football League:

As a member of the Brooklyn Bolts, McCray was scheduled to play his first FXFL game in mid-October.

Previously, McCray had signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Central Florida.

He played in all four preseason games before being let go on the final day of roster cutdowns.

The Packers still had two spots open on the practice squad at the end of business on Monday after promoting wide receiver Kevin Dorsey to the 53-man roster and filling one opening by signing cornerback Tay Glover-Wright.

One spot on the practice squad remains, assuming the news of signing McCray is confirmed.

hmmm.... McCray wasn't really playing that well during pre-season. Wondering what they see in him. There certainly is nothing wrong with having guys on PS and develop those guys, but at the same time, I thought other players played better during preseason and deserved to be on PS instead. Interestingly enough, with McCray they'd have 3 OL on the PS, but not a single DL. Whatever happened to Carlos Gray? I thought he played well during preseason, similar to Luther Robinson, but I don't think he is on any NFL PS.
