From Ian Rapoport:
#Packers have matched #Raiders' contract offer to RFA safety Sean Richardson. He’s staying in Green Bay, source said.

As Bob McGinn reported this morning, Richardson was in Green Bay on Sunday for a meeting and physical with the team, so this seemed to be where this was headed. As I wrote this morning, this is where I thought Ted would go with this.
The 6-2, 216-pound Richardson played 133 snaps on defense as a reserve and ranked first on the team in special teams tackles. All but $200,000 of the $2.55 million offer is guaranteed, and that is guaranteed the moment he passes his physical for training camp.

I like this.Paying your people must be less stressful. Richardson's kind of a tough guy and also shows the seriousness to be better on special teams. I wonder if this make Bush resigning less likely?
