Packers Podcast: Welcome to the Hot Seat, Dom Capers

Mike McCarthy has never fired an assistant coach at midseason. Could he actually do so now?

On Monday morning I joined Bart Winkler on K107 in Fond du Lac to take a look back at Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. We kick off the interview by trying to decipher Mike McCarthy's cryptic reference to fixing "recurring issues" he said he'd address. It's obvious the problems are on the defensive side of the football, but would McCarthy go so far as to actually fire defensive coordinator Dom Capers in midseason? We also touch on the encouraging play from backup quarterback Scott Tolzien and what that means for the Packers moving forward.

Honestly, Huff and/or Kerry Rhodes cannot be worse than Jennings and McMillian at this point.
