Who? That's my only reaction.

After watching Niklas go one pick before GB in the 2nd and Louis Nix go 2 picks before them in the 3rd I feel deflated.

DIx Niklas and NIx would've been a nice haul for GB, oh well day late and a dollar short I guess. Strange draft so far.

6'2 and 5/8ths. Pigskin Paul can't seem to find much of anything positive to say about Thornton. Best he can find is a late round draftable player with decent measurables. Hope TT knows what he is doing. Never heard of this guy.

Total reach, we could have gotten him in the 5th, not sure why Ted does this sometimes, he takes a guy he likes but takes them way too early.
He did the same thing with the TE Rodgers.

Only time will tell.

Plus, I still have to discuss this with my postman.

The word "reach" implies drafting for need. Yes, the packers draft for need. When you have strong needs, you can't take risks of players not being there.

The packers only have so many roster spots available. There's a lot of players returning.

This kid looks like a NT to me. I was hoping the Packers would grab one this draft. So I'm good with him.

Same here. Last year Raji played like milque toast. This year, and more than likely next, B.J. might be just toast.

Raji is as good as gone after this year. Raji is basically a big warm body that gets manhandled consistently no matter where he lines up. Raji has the lateral movement of a baby elephant seal.

This guy is Raji's replacement.

Yep. Raji just went through free agency and the best he could get is a one year deal for 4 million. Pretty basic stuff.

Thats not what I was saying. A lot of good TE's and a couple of centers were picked ahead of GB. I'm sure they would have had them rated high on their board. GM this assclown.

The fact that I haven't heard of him means nothing to me. Draft " experts" don't get paid to build football teams. What I like here is this young mans motor, his no-quit attitude, his quickness, his "violent" hands, and the reality that neither Pickett nor Jolly is likely to play. Raji is talented but plays with no hunger.

"Definitely his energy and hustle were the things I noticed most about him"

You have sources? You've seen him play? You have film?

Anything more than a random comment?

CBS also said this:

"Appears maxed out physically and lacks ideal length."
"Undeveloped hand technique and too easily handled by single rushers - functional strength is average-at-best and ends up hand fighting."
"Lackluster career production, especially as a pass rusher with only 5.5 career sacks - his sack total decreased each of his four seasons in school."

I cherry-picked purposely. It's what you do all the time. --- Fix it!!
