Packers Julius Peppers Heading to the Pro Bowl

With Denver's Von Miller heading to the Super Bowl, an outside linebacker spot has opened up on the Pro Bowl roster and Packers Julius Peppers will be heading to Hawaii in Miller's place.

The game is the weekend before the Super Bowl and the Packers staff will be coaching one of the teams.

Teams are "drafted" on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 by former players Michael Irvin and Jerry Rice. Peppers will find out then if he will be on the Packers coached team or playing along side or versus other Packer Pro Bowlers: Clay Matthews, John Kuhn, and Josh Sitton.

I'm happy for Julius. He had a solid year. Waiting to see if he wants to come back next year and if so, whether TT wants him.

Love Peppers, totally deserving.

Tells you something when a 36 year old DE/OLB is beating out Nick Perry, Mike Neal and such. Not much in the pipeline at this point. Maybe DeMarcus Ware will be available after this year.
