Packers Coaching in High School: Paup's Game Broadcasted Live Tonight

Former linebacker Bryce Paup, who's now head coach at Green Bay Southwest, will his game broadcasted tonight on the Green Bay Press-Gazette's website.

Several former Green Bay Packers players now coach in the high school ranks. Here's a brief update on this week's games...

  • Following last week's inter-city 12-7 win over Green Bay Preble, former linebacker Bryce Paup improved his record as head coach at Green Bay Southwest to 6-2. This weekend they take on Bay Port (4-4). The game will be broadcasted live on the Green Bay Press-Gazette's website tonight at 7 p.m. Central time.
  • Pulaski, where former fullback Dexter McNabb is athletics director and fullbacks coach, suffered only their second loss of the season to Manitowoc Lincoln, 40-37. In tonight's regular-season finale, they take on Green Bay West (0-8).
  • On the heels of a tough 44-0 loss to Brillion, Sturgeon Bay (4-4) has one last chance to get above .500 when they host Mishicot (2-6). Former quarterback Randy Wright is the offensive coordinator at Sturgeon Bay.
  • The only thing between Waukesha West (8-0) and an undefeated regular season is inter-city rival Waukesha North. Former tight end Mark Chmura is an assistant coach at West.
  • After a 35-28 win over Immaculate Conception last week, former wide receiver Don Beebe's Aurora (Ill.) Christian football team improved to 6-1 on the season. They host St. Edward (4-3) tonight.
  • With former quarterback Ty Detmer as head coach, St. Andrews Episcopal of Austin, Tex. (2-5) is on a four-game losing streak after having been defeated by Episcopal School of Dallas last week. They look to turn things around this evening as they host Fort Worth Country Day.
  • Flint Northwestern (Mich.) where former wide receiver Andre Rison is head coach, looks to improve upon their 2-6 record against Saginaw Nouvel today.
  • St. Vincent-St. Mary of Akron, Oh. remained undefeated on the season (7-0) after last week's 62-13 win over Marion Harding. Former safety Mark Murphy is an assistant coach at St. Vincent-St. Mary where tonight they host Mooney.
  • Skyline High School in Front Royal, Va. improved their record to 3-3 following a 26-20 win last week at Millbrook. Tonight they play at Washington.
