Packers CB Tramon Williams Added to Injury Report

It appears to be nothing much to worry about, but Packers cornerback Tramon Williams was added to the team's injury report on Friday with a groin issue.

Williams did reportedly practice in a limited fashion in the team's final day of on-field preparations before Sunday's game at the Cincinnati Bengals.

Considering the importance of containing wide receiver A.J. Green and Williams' potential newfound duties in defending the slot, it is a situation worth monitoring, however.

Four Packers starters are listed as probable on the team's official game day status projections, including tight end Jermichael Finley (toe), defensive lineman Johnny Jolly (neck) and guard T.J. Lang (back).

I'd say Joe Thomas...but Bakhtiari is holding it down. (He's been better than both of the top rookie LTs so far.)

And Thomas won't come cheap. There's no way Ted will trade away our future with so many of our guys hitting free agency in 2014.

It's nice that Bakhtiari's play has made this question pretty well moot. I like what I see from him so far...

You Like a player who's given up 3 sacks in 2 games so far? That's worse than Newhouse. He better get a hell of a freakin lot better. I think you just like that your favorite whipping boy (Newhouse) is on the bench. Bahktiari has a LONG way to go.

Isn't it strange that in the week leading up to facing the Vikings the Browns decided that having a franchise RB without a real franchise QB makes no sense. The Vikings have the best RB in football and struggle to win on a consistant basis.

Arguably Mike Lombardi should have gotten more than a measly probable late 1st round pick for Richardson but the justification for such a move can be found in a simple comparison of the Packers and Vikings.

Probable late? I would be surprised if the pick ended up top 15.

The Colts have a tough schedule and played like a 4-12 team statistically last season. They also were thisclose to losing to the Raiders. They're by no means a lock for a low pick.

I agree. I'd think he could have gotten at least Donald Brown AND that 1st rounder. With that said, I don't think Trent Richardson is a huge difference maker. Especially with the injury history he's had.

Sure hope Jolly's neck injury is nothing serious. Everybody seems to say the same thing about him - that he's brought a great energy to this year's team. I've loved watching him so far this year.

I say TT has a propensity for picking players in the late rounds who are injury prone, were injury prone in college and were available to the team on the cheap.
This team is soft when you think of it. How many injuries does this team get in practice and many of them are walk throughs?

You've got under sized 5'9 d backs trying to tackle big 6'6 guys and we wonder why all the injuries.
You have guys playing every play without a break or rest because the backups suck to bad and were wondering why all the hamstrings.

You've got a running back coming in on an emergecy who hasn't carried the ball once in three games because the other guy was 'hot' as Mike said.

This whole thing is a cluster f
