Packers Cancel Practice and Media Availability on Monday
The Packers have cancelled Monday's practice and media availability. The practice was scheduled to be closed to the public, but open to reporters. Mike McCarthy was scheduled to speak after the practice.
The announcement comes on the heals of news that LT Bryan Bulaga will be lost for the season with an ACL injury he suffered during Saturday Night's Family Scrimmage. The Packers will be doing some work outs Monday, though. Free agent quarterback, Vince Young is scheduled to work out for the Packers.
Perhaps the Packers simply want to focus on roster moves today, or want to give the many injured Packer players another day to rest, but the move to cancel practice is rare. The Packers are scheduled to return to practice Tuesday morning.
**UPDATE**
Was told the #Packers are doing a "team function" today and that calling off practice was not a reaction to the injuries — Rob Demovsky (@RobDemovsky) August 5, 2013

I actually agree with Cow here. This is some sort of damage control. Bulaga down for the season (maybe), and a kicker that can't kick.

Spiraling downward from what? An injury? The Packers have had those before. Changing the practice schedule? Head coaches change things up all the time. Imbecile
