Packers Calendar: Will James Starks' Ankle Prevent Him from Practicing?

The Packers running back left the recent game against the Panthers with an ankle injury and did not return.

Packers cornerback Davon House expect to return for the first day of practice of the week in Green Bay on Wednesday, as the team prepares for their upcoming match-up with the New Orleans Saints.

That's the word from Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Tyler Dunne, who was told by House he plans to tape his finger, which was dislocated in the win over the Carolina Panthers this past Sunday, and be "good to go."

As for running back James Starks, cornerback Sam Shields and defensive lineman Datone Jones, their status isn't as certain.

Starks left the Panthers game with an ankle injury during the third quarter and did not return.

It was difficult to tell whether Starks could have returned or whether the Packers were just erring on the side of caution with the game already out of reach.

Shields and Jones, meanwhile, were both named on the gameday inactive list with knee and ankle injuries respectively.

These aforementioned players are likely to be listed on the Packers' injury report, which will be released Wednesday afternoon.

Head coach Mike McCarthy will have a post-practice update during his press conference, which will be streamed live on Packers.com at approximately 1:35 p.m. CT.

During the evening hours, the Brandon Bostick Show will air at 6:00 p.m. on 107.5 FM and 1400 AM WDUZ in Green Bay and stream online at 1075TheFan.com.

The Packers tight end will welcome a teammate as guest from a show that will originate from the Sports Pub at Thornberry Creek Golf Club in Oneida, Wis. Fans are welcome.
