Packers Calendar: Wide Receivers Past and Present

First Jordy Nelson will appear on the NFL Network on Friday. Then Donald Driver will return to Green Bay at the Packers Pro Shop.

Green Bay Packers wide receivers will be a recurring theme on Friday.

First, Jordy Nelson will make a couple appearances in the media.

According to our own Aaron Nagler via Twitter, Nelson will appear on the NFL Network's NFL AM, which broadcasts from 5:00 to 9:00 a.m. CT and then an edited replay from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Nelson will also make an appearance on radio, making his regular Friday interview with 620 AM WTMJ in Milwaukee at 3:20 p.m., which can be heard online at 620WTMJ.com.

Also on Friday, former wide receiver Donald Driver will be making an appearance inside the Packers Pro Shop at Lambeau Field, signing copies of his new children's book Quickie Stands Up to a Bully, the first stop on his book-signing tour.

Driver will make a short statement to kick off the event at 2:00 p.m. and continue signing until 4:00 p.m.

"The book, which is the fourth in Driver’s children’s book series, is sold as part of a set that includes a Quickie plush toy," according to the Packers official website. "Proceeds from the book set benefit the Donald Driver Foundation."

Driver will be signing only his book.

The Packers will also release their final injury report of the week on Friday, and attention will be on tight end Brandon Bostick (hip) and linebacker Jayrone Elliott (hamstring).

Neither player has practiced yet this week.

Following release of the injury report, head coach Mike McCarthy will hold a press conference at 11:30 a.m. to be streamed live on Packers.com.

During the morning hours, McCarthy will take part in his usual Friday morning radio circuit, making appearances on a handful of stations in Wisconsin:

  • 6:25 a.m.: 620 AM WTMJ in Milwaukee and online at 620WTMJ.com.
  • 6:45 a.m.: 1310 AM WIBA in Madison and online at WIBA.com.
  • 7:50 a.m.: 101.1 FM WIXX in Green Bay and online at WIXX.com.
