The 44th annual Vince Lombardi Golf Classic takes place Saturday at North Hills Country Club in Menomonee Falls, Wis. With many current and former Packers taking part, the event is open to the public.
Parking will be available at the Menomonee Falls High School, and a complimentary shuttle will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
There is a $10 spectator donation to enter the Vince Lombardi Golf Classic and a celebrity souvenir program is included. Autographs will be available, however, organizers ask that signatures are limited to the program and that additional sports memorabilia not be brought onto the country club grounds.
Festivities will kick off with a celebrity photo at 10:00 a.m. The shotgun five-man scramble will then begin at 10:30 a.m. and be followed by the awards reception.
Among the celebrities scheduled to attend include Jared Abbrederis, Jim Bakken, Don Barclay, Zeke Bratkowski, Bryan Bulaga, Willie Buchanon, Jarrett Bush, Mark Chmura, Mason Crosby, Lynn Dickey, Gary Ellerson, Bruce Froemming, Tiger Greene, Brett Goode, Scott Henry, Davon House, Chris Jacke, Dan Jansen, Karen Jansen, Greg Koch, Jerry Kramer, Wayne Larrivee, James Lofton, Tim Masthay, Chester Marcol, Jordy Nelson, Pat Richter, Ken Sanders, Jan Stenerud, Jake Stoneburner, Karl Swanke, Gorman Thomas, Bob Uecker, David Whitehurst and more.
Proceeds go to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation, which raises funds to benefit cancer research and patients.
Meanwhile back in Green Bay, the 17th annual Junior Power Pack Kids Clinic takes place inside the Don Hutson Center with several sessions ranging from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The annual clinic gives children ages 5 to 14 the opportunity to practice football skills with Packers players. Members choose a session to attend:
Session One – 9-10 am: Scott Tolzien, Myles White and Chris Harper
Session Two - 11:30 am – 12:30 pm: Brandon Bostick, Aaron Adams and Chris Banjo
Session Three - 2:30 – 3:30 pm: Lane Taylor, Sam Barrington and Michael Hill
The kids clinic is open to members only and the registration deadline has passed.
Taking place at Nativity High School in Indianapolis, the camp is open to childen in fifth through eighth grades.
Finally, former Packers tight end Jermichael Finley is participating in charity event with other NFL players taking on the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team on Saturday in Bowie, Md. near Washington D.C.
The event takes place at the home of the Bowie Baysox Baseball Club starting at 7:00 p.m. ET, gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at MCOPRO.com.
