The Green Bay Packers return to the practice field one more time before leaving for San Diego for their preseason opener.

Practice will take place this afternoon at 3:30 p.m. Central time in one final tune up, and the first one in which they will specifically prepare for the Chargers. Previously, the Packers have worked on installing their own offensive and defensive schemes in the first week and a half of training camp without preparing for any particular opponent.

The Packers will also be careful not to sustain any more injuries as they've hit a point in camp when the ailments have been piling up. Thankfully, few if any of the injuries so far seem to be the type that will end someone's season, but the Packers could still use a clean bill of health.

Following practice, head coach Mike McCarthy will hold a press conference to be streamed live on the team's official website. Typically practice last two and a half hours, but last night McCarthy ended practice early due to the accumulating injuries.

At 1:00 p.m., general manager Ted Thompson will also hold a press conference to be held on the team's website.
