Packers Calendar: Tailgate Tour Hits Beloit

The Packers' goodwill tour makes a stop at the Eclipse Center in Beloit with a tailgate party starting at 6 p.m. local time.

Following its first stop in Oshkosh on Tuesday, the Packers' annual Tailgate Tour hits to the road today en route to Beloit, Wis.

On Wednesday evening there will be an event held at The Eclipse Center to benefit Beloit Regional Hospice.

A tailgate party will welcome the players and alumni arriving at at 6 p.m. and will run until 8:30 p.m. The party which will feature food, giveaways, question-and-answer sessions and autographs. Tickets to the event are sold out.

Like all stops on the tour, the tour celebrities will include Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy, players Jarrett Bush, Randall Cobband Alex Green, and Packers alumni Santana Dotson, Aaron Taylor and Frank Winters.

There will be also be several unannounced stops along the way between Oshkosh and Beloit.

Back in Green Bay, former Packers quarterback Bart Starr will be in town on Wednesday for a groundbreaking ceremony to extend Bart Starr Drive, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

No details have been published, but the event is mentioned by the Press-Gazette's GB A.M.
