Packers Calendar: Pro Day Stops at Pittsburgh, Auburn, Northwestern

Other universities hosting pro days on Tuesday include New Mexico State and James Madison.

The annual pro-day circuit on college campuses across the nation got started on Monday with the Green Bay Packers represented at a couple events:

The tour continues on Tuesday with several more universities hosting their own workouts. Those scheduled to hold pro-timing events include Pittsburgh, Auburn, Northwestern, New Mexico State, James Madison, Sam Houston State and Tuskegee.

Although the Packers do not specificially publicize which events they'll be attending, they're always active on the pro-day circuit.

Among those that might hold the most interest are Pittsburgh, where offensive lineman T.J. Clemmings is a potential first round draft pick.

Auburn will be an opportunity to see converted cornerback Nick Marshall, who played quarterback for the Tigers and played it at a high level. Cornerback, meanwhile, remains a work in progress.

And at Northwester, it will be interesting to see safety Ibraheim Campbell, who declined to do any drills at the Combine apart from the bench press.

If there was a team that needed Kiko Alonso is was the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are absolutely desperate for 2-4 ILBs. Kiko is a special player and a great 3-4 inside linebacker.

He could have been a huge piece the puzzle. Ted missed the boat.

And Ted should have traded ...? for Alonso?
Dujuan Harris and a warm bucket of hamster vomit?
Sign LaMichael James and then trade HIM for Alonso?

Harris is as good a back as Eddie Lacey, you just don't know it yet. He is also more versatile. The packers also have a power back in Starks locked up for next couple years. Rajion Neal is the real deal, again you just don't know it yet.

Eddie Lacey for Kiko & a 4th round pick, or preferably the highly over-rated HaHa Dix & Davonte Adams for Kiko straight up would be a bargain.

Starks is under contract for this season (2015). It is factually incorrect to say he is locked up for the next couple of years.

Just imagine if he was our GM. We would have LaMichael James on our roster.

DuJaun Harris wont even make an NFL roster in 2015. Trading away a superstar running back still on his rookie contract is a terrible idea. LaMichael James sucks.

Capers likes Stephone Anthony, so do I. David Harris could be a veteran we target to play the middle. I only see that happening if Cobb leaves though. I question Paul Dawson's strange combine #s/ off field issues, but the kid is a baller. I'm sure 1265 has a plan for the middle. I trust TT's team building philosophy.

I do not think Ben's ideology on how to build an NFL team would lead to wins and his "advanced scouting reports" sure are good for a laugh, not much else though.
