Packers Calendar: Pro Day at Central Michigan

Central Michigan had three players invited to the NFL Combine this year, indicating they'll have some top-level talent on display.

Hope everyone's bracket isn't busted yet, but after Thursday's action, I have a feeling they might be.

While most people's attention is on the men's NCAA basketball tournament, there's a some football action being held on a few college campuses across America on Friday.

The pro day garnering the most attention this particular day will be at Central Michigan.

Despite being a smaller school from the MAC, the Chippewas sent three players to the NFL Combine this year: wide receiver Titus Davis, running back Thomas Rawls and defensive lineman Leterrius Walton.

Coming from the same program that produced Antonio Brown, Davis will receive comparisons to the Steelers wide receiver, even if it's an unrealistic one. Davis is still a nice receiver in his own right and should hear his name called in the NFL Draft.

Rawls is a transfer from a bigger program at Michigan, showing there were bigger expectations at one point. And Walton was invited to the East-West Shrine Game after the season. He has size that can't be coached at 6' 5" and 319 lbs.

Other pro-day workouts on Friday are being held at Harding and Valdosta State.

The Packers do not publish which particular pro-day events they'll attend, although they're typically represented at a majority.

Meanwhile, the NFL's Career Development Symposium continues on Friday in Arizona in advance of the league's owners meeting next week held at the same location.

Former Packers general manager Ron Wolf is one of the featured speakers at the event.

If the Packers can re-sign both Raji and Guion, I like Letteirus Walton as our 4th or 5th round pick. He won't be under any pressure to start this year and can take the time to develop. If either Raji or Guion is not with the Packers next year, Walton can step in.
