Packers Calendar: Pro Bowl

Television coverage of the NFL's annual all-star game star starts Sunday at 7:00 p.m. CT on ESPN.

They'd rather be in the Super Bowl, but as it is, the Green Bay Packers will be represented by six players in Sunday's Pro Bowl.

Wide receivers Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb, linebacker Clay Matthews, fullback John Kuhn, guard Josh Sitton and cornerback Sam Shields will take part in the league's annual all-star game.

Taking place at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., television coverage starts at 7:00 p.m. CT on ESPN and kicks off at 7:15 p.m.

The game had become a joke in recent years with little physicality in the trenches and defensive players offering little resistance to their skill-position brethren.

Last season offered a small turnaround when the league pressured players to make more of an honest effort, but it still doesn't come anywhere close to your typical regular-season game.

It will, however, present one last chance to see Packers players in a competitive environment until next summer.

For those attending the game in person, parking lots open at 1:00 p.m. local time with stadium gates opening an hour later.  Team warm-ups start at 5:05 p.m. while the national athem and player introductions commence at 5:50 p.m.

The GameDay Fan Plaza is open to all ticketholders from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. including NFL players autographs, music performances, cheerleader and marching band appearances and a photo-op with the Pro Bowl Trophy on the Great Lawn.
