Following their weekly day off on Tuesday, the Green Bay Packers return to the practice field for their first day of on-field preparations for their upcoming game against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Packers find themselves in nearly a must-win situation and will have to do so with Scott Tolzien as the starting quarterback for a second consecutive week, as acknowledged by head coach Mike McCarthy earlier this week.

A boost would be provided from the return of a couple of injured players, including cornerback Sam Shields (hamstring), linebacker Nick Perry (ankle/foot) and offensive lineman Don Barclay (knee), but it's unknown whether they'll be able to return as early as Wednesday or not.

McCarthy will have his Wednesday press conference streamed live on the team's official website at 1:30 p.m. CT.

In the evening, linebacker A.J. Hawk will fill in for injured tight end Jermichael Finley for a second consecutive time this season as host of the weekly J-Mike and M.D. Show from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. CT on WDUZ 107.5 FM and 1400 AM in Green Bay, according to the station's Marques Eversoll.

Tight end Ryan Taylor will be the guest. The show originates from Thornberry Creek golf course in Oneida, Wis. in front of an audience and will be streamed live on TheFan1075.com.
