Since the Green Bay Packers are playing on Monday Night Football this week, head coach Mike McCarthy is giving them an extra day off than usual on Wednesday.

"I want the players to have an extra day off this week," said McCarthy on Monday. "You look at years past, you play out your schedule, we've been playing on Thanksgiving pretty much every other year. I always liked that little break before the fourth quarter of the season. We tried to create that here a little bit with the Monday night schedule."

On their day off, several Packers players have media engagements, such as Datone Jones, who will host his namesake bi-monthly radio show.

The Packers defensive lineman can be heard on 107.5 FM and 1400 AM WDUZ in Green Bay from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. CT, which can also be streamed live on TheFan1075.com.

At the same time, viewers in the Wausau market can watch Green and Gold Gridiron, hosted by former Packer Bill Ferrario.

This week's guest is defensive back Jarrett Bush. The show can be seen on Fox 55 in Wausau at 6:00 p.m.

And at 6:30 p.m., Green Bay Nation, hosted alternately by offensive lineman Josh Sitton and fullback John Kuhn, will air on flagship station WFRV channel 5 in Green Bay.
