Packers Calendar: Offensive Players to Recap Struggles on Local Media

Jordy Nelson, John Kuhn, Richard Rodgers and T.J. Lang are among the players appearing on various shows on Monday.

On Monday, a day after scoring a mere seven points in a loss to the Detroit Lions, several Green Bay Packers offensive players will recap the events of the previous day on their various appearances on local media.

Jordy Nelson, John Kuhn, Richard Rodgers and T.J. Lang are among those that will all have to re-live Sunday's struggles.

It starts with Nelson acting as co-host of Inside The Huddle, airing live on Fox 11 in Green Bay at 5:30 p.m. CT and on tape delay on other stations across the Midwest later in the week. The show tapes live in front of a studio audience at Burkel's One Block Over in Green Bay.

At 6:00 p.m., it's Lang's turn to co-host the In the Huddle radio show heard on a network of stations, including 1150 AM WHYB and 1570 AM/95.3 FM WSCO in Appleton and streamed live on WHYB.com. The show airs live from Tanner's Grill and Bar in Kimberly, Wis.

Then at 6:30 p.m., as co-host of Clubhouse Live, Kuhn welcomes Rodgers as his guest (according to the show's Facebook page) on a show originating from the Clubhouse Bar and Grill in Appleton, Wis., and streamed live online at ClubhouseLive.com.

Back at Lambeau Field, the media obligations get underway at 3:00 p.m. with a taping of the Mike McCarthy Show featuring the Packers head coach and a yet-to-be-named player guest.

Fans are welcome to be part of the live studio audience on the fourth floor Associated Bank Club level of the stadium, even though the show won't air until Tuesday at the earliest on a network of stations across the Midwest.

Following the taping of his show, McCarthy will meet with the media for his weekly day-after-game press conference to be streamed live at 4:00 p.m. on Packers.com.

Later in the day, Packers Live with host Larry McCarren will air live from inside the Legends Club at Lambeau Field at 6:30 p.m. on a network of stations across the region. There were also be a player guest yet to be revealed at the time of publication.

Finally, The 5th Quarter will air live at 5:00 p.m. on 1360 AM and 97.5 FM WTAQ in Green Bay and streamed online at WTAQ.com. Packers equipment manager Red Batty will be this week's guest, according to the show's website, and will recorded in front of an audience at Champion's Sports Bar and Grill in Green Bay.

Hopefully they can be as candid as Charles Woodson was and say.."We Suck" and pointing fingers is not needed at any one part of the game because its a merry-go-round and each week another gets its turn to fall off the ride in embarrassment. :)

These media appearances have stayed static for years. To suggest it's "more" is unfair.

I'm positive the appearances on ESPN Wisconsin, AM 1250, and the national commercials have significantly increased over the last few years.

Have you ever been involved in the shooting of a production like Rodgers new Ford commercial? I have, and although I was not an actor I know the amount of work that goes into it. It is a lot of work of all involved and consumes a lot of bandwidth. It's no day at the park. I've got to hand it to him it's an awesome commercial. If his goal is to be an actor then he's succeeding.
