Packers Calendar: No Fewer Than Nine Draftable Prospects at LSU Pro Day

The Green Bay Packers don't publish a list of university pro days they'll attend, but it's a foregone conclusion they'll have a representative at the LSU workout on Wednesday given the talent that will be on display.

According to Adam Caplan of ESPN:

The top player from LSU is probably wide receiver Odell Beckham, who could potentially be of interest to the Packers in the first round of the NFL Draft if they're looking to provide Aaron Rodgers with another dangerous target.

But there's no shortage of other talented players at LSU, including running back Jeremy Hill, quarterback Zach Mettenberger, defensive lineman Ego Ferguson, wide receiver Jarvis Landy and others. This will be a pro day workout where all 32 NFL teams will very likely be in attendance.

Live streaming video of LSU's pro day will take place at 2:30 p.m. CT at LSUSports.net.

On Wednesday evening, Packers running back DuJuan Harris will host his weekly podcast at 8:00 p.m. CT on the BWD Radio Station at BlogTalkRadio.

Don't forget safety Craig Loston. Might be more of a SS than FS, but I wouldn't doubt he can play both as GB might prefer. I liked him a lot before the combine, but he only ran a 4.65 40, much slower than I thought. It'll be interesting to see if he can improve on that. He sure looked faster on his pick-6 against Mississippi St.

The Packers desperately need a kick/punt returner.

Hyde like Cobb has become too valuable for the job.
