Packers Calendar: New Time for Training Camp Practice

Practice starts at noon CT on Tuesday, followed by Mike McCarthy's press conference at 2:30 p.m.

During the first week of Green Bay Packers training camp, practice was held at the early hour of 8:20 a.m.

Then yesterday for the first and only time this season, the Packers held an evening practice starting at 5:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, the Packers will practice at 12:00 p.m. CT for the first time this season in a session that will be free and open to the public.

With the offensive and defensive installations complete, the Packers will start game-specific planning this afternoon as they prepare for this upcoming Saturday's preseason opener against the Tennessee Titans.

On the injury front, it will be worth watching if a pair of players that dropped out of Monday's practice return to action: safety Morgan Burnett (ankle) and running back Michael Hill (concussion).

Head coach Mike McCarthy will have his post-practice press conference streamed live on Packers.com at approximately 2:30 p.m. CT.

For those attending practice in person, the Kemps Moooseum will be at Packers training camp on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Ray Nitschke lot.

The 53-foot Mooseum highlights Kemps' history and dairy history, detailing how ice cream is made. There will also be an interactive Packers Football Toss and the opportunity to sample new Kemps Packers Ice Cream flavors.

After practice, Delaware North Sportservice will hold a job fair from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. inside the Lambeau Field atrium.

As the food service partner of the Packers, Delaware North is looking to fill part-time and seasonal positions. In addition, there will be an open house for nonprofit groups interested in volunteering at Lambeau Field.

Positions include supervisors, cooks, kitchen preparation staff, dishwashers, bartenders, servers, runners, porters, beer and food vendors, vending commissary workers, cash room clerks, alcohol compliance, concession stand attendants and cashiers.

Interested individuals will be asked to fill out an application and interview for positions during the job fair. Anyone interested in applying should be highly motivated and customer oriented. Sportservice is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants, including minorities and women, are encouraged to apply.

Both the job fair and the open house will be held on the third floor of the atrium.

In the evening, Dr. Pat McKenzie—the orthopedic surgeon for the Packers—will be giving a free presentation on ACL tears in the sixth floor North Loft of Lambeau Field from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

According to the Bellin Health website, "Charlie DeCleene is a physical therapist that works closely with Dr. McKenzie and has received extensive education in the use of technology to assess and treat knee injuries. Charlie will be presenting on the most recent evidenced-based approaches to ACL surgery rehabilitation utilizing video analysis technology. Both Dr. Patrick McKenzie and Charlie will be presenting the need for prevention programs and the injury prevention testing that Bellin Health Sports Medicine has to offer."
