Packers Calendar: James Jones Wraps Up Season on Radio Show

The Packers wide receiver will appear on 101.1 FM WIXX in Green Bay at 5:00 p.m. CT on Thursday, also streamed live on WIXX.com.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones will make his weekly appearance Thursday evening on 101.1 FM WIXX in Green Bay for 1 on 1 with the Boys from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. CT.

The show can be streamed live online at WIXX.com and through the station's USTREAM video player.

In addition to his usual banter, Jones will wrap up the season and perhaps address his future in Green Bay.

Jones will be a free agent in early March. He's gone on record saying he would like to finish his career in Green Bay, but things don't always work out the way players hope.

There's been no published word on who Jones' guest on the show will be.

Unless the schedule has changed due to the team's postseason loss, Packers head coach Mike McCarthy will presumably make his weekly appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio (satellite radio) at 10:15 a.m. CT.

He'll be talking to one of his former players and Packers preseason announcer Rich Gannon along with Bruce Murray on the SiriusXM Blitz.

There isn't much new ground to cover that wasn't asked to McCarthy yesterday in his season-ending press conference, but with the coaching carousel in the NFL in perpetual motion, new talking points can crop up at any moment.

Time to say goodbye to Jones. The last half the season he lost more than a step. He showed zero separation and had defenders all over him and really did nothing. Too bad. He failed to catch passes in coverage in the 9ers game. Key passes. Drive sustaning passes.
Way too much other talent out there to keep him. Injuries did this guy in.
