The jewel of Green Bay Packers training camp—the annual Family Night event taking place inside Lambeau Field—occurs Saturday evening.
Those unable to attend can follow along remotely on either television or online starting at 7:00 p.m. CT.
Produced by Fox 11 in Green Bay, the event will be streamed at their website, Fox11Online.com.
There will also be a statewide telecast for Wisconsin residents. In addition to Green Bay, the event will be televised on WITI-TV in Milwaukee, WMSN-TV in Madison, WFXS-TV in Wausau, WLAX-TV in La Crosse and WEUX-TV in Eau Claire.
For those attending Family Night in person, the Lambeau Field parking lot opens at 11:00 a.m. at a cost of $5 with net proceeds going to Wendy's Wonderful Kids Program.
Activities begin at 11:00 with a display of animals from the Wildlife Sanctuary along the Fan Walkway in the parking lot.
Appleton Rock School will perform inside the Lambeau Field atrium starting at noon.
The Family Night Picnic will take place from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the east-side parking lot with activities for children, including sidewalk chalk and airbrush tattoos.
Festivities inside the stadium begin at 5:30 p.m. with family-friendly and game-day atmosphere making use of the stadium's video boards and sound system.
On-field activities include an NFL flag football game with players from the Northwest Wisconsin Champions League, as well as a performance by the Green Bay Elite Dance Team and a BMX Bike Show before the practice begins.
Starting at approximately 7:00 p.m., the Packers steal the show with pre-game warm-ups, introductions, a full practice with 11-on-11 sessions that will feature live contact. Gone from seasons past, however, is the scrimmage the Packers used to have.
Following practice, the Packers will hold their annual "Jerseys Off Our Backs" promotion, featuring jerseys worn play players in the just-completed practice, given away to fans in a random drawing.
The evening will conclude with a fireworks display originating from Lambeau Field.
