You mean, "The road to the NFC Divisional game or at best the NFC Championship game starts today."

The Vikings might even beat the Packers out for the NFC North.

Packer Fan for 38 yrs. Viking fan for about a month now. Who's ever making decision in MN is doing a heck of a job. The Vikings have had the leagues best draft 2 years in a row. The Vikings will be special for the next 5-10 years. They'll have top 6 defense this year, and a top 3 by next. Not only will they be one of the best defenses, their one of the youngest. No they didn't sign James, but they did sign Dujuan Harris who is as good as ANY packer RB. Sure Lacey is a very good back, but when healthy and given a chance Dujuan Harris will prove as good maybe better. Adrian Peterson, Dujuan Harris, & Jerick McKinnon is the best backfield in the NFL.

The packers do have the best (not greatest) player to ever play the game at the most influential position in team sports. But the Packers have squandered this perfect storm of opportunity. The past 2 draft have sealed an unfortunate fate. That is bad enough. But to hear you uninformed homers that lack any objectivity or intellectual integrity blindly back this waste of opportunity is gross.

4th round Carl Bradford? I saw him play in college, not suprised he didn't make the team. Richard Rogers in the 3rd? Some homer with the MJS writing how he maybe the down-field threat the packer's need? He has the 40 of an offensive tackle, he really does. And he is a bad bad blocker to boot. I actually had some hope for 3rd rounder Khyri Thorton. Nope, nothing there. Luther Robinson is 3 x the player and the packers just cut him. Hope the vikes pick him up. 2nd round Davante Adams is James Jones with a verticle, wasn't necessary and not worth the 53 pick of that draft. Not when you can get better prospects like Janis and Abbrederis much later anyway. Ha Ha is a joke, the most over-rated packer since aj hawk or Atari bigby.

2010 run defense? 2011 run defense?...........2014? 2015? Adrian Peterson? Marshawn Lynch Again?

an ILB maybe? Ted goes out an get himself an undrafted rookie ILB, another undrafted rookie ILB, another undrafted rookie LB, a 4th rounder, and a street free-agent ILB

Ngata? the best and greatest NT to ever play the game? to the lions. Suh? one of the best DT to ever play the game. Nope.

more of the same for the pack this year. If Rodgers, doesn't stay healthy it could get ugly. If the absolute miracle of Aaron Rodgers falling into Ted's lap never happened, Ted would be a mid level scout somewhere with a more appropriate sized ego.

There is a chance the Vikings win the NFC north this year. A real decent chance they make the playoffs. A Very good chance they make it next year. Brand new stadium for the Vikes next year. They host the 2017-18 SuperBowl. It will be one of the greatest organizational turnarounds in sports when the mud-ducks are hosting their own Super-Bowl Victory.

Good luck with your new team. As it says in the bible: "Viking fans have all of the qualities of a dog, except loyalty." You'll fit right in.

We should all be thankful! Saint Ben is allowing us the opportunity to jump ship before it all goes down, like the 2009 Vikings! So close to the Super Bowl only because they had a Packer QB running the show...

Sounds like Ben didn't like the Packers draft, and really wanted the Packers to take Eric Kendricks, and since the Vikings took him he has now become a Vikings fan. Going into the draft, the Packers had maybe 3 starting positions from last yr. up for grabs, none on offense. The first is (ILB), and since Clay is going to play that position quite a bit, that wasn't a given anyway. For an ILB to come into the league and start from day one, making the calls, and running the defense is a tall task. (CB) is the next, and since the Packers lost 3 CB's in the off season, they drafted 2 in the first 2 rds, some call that overkill, I call it smart, because this is a passing league. The heir apparent starting CB was already on the team in Hayward, to take Tramon's spot, and Hyde is most likely to be the slot CB. (So again, maybe there wasn't a starting spot at CB to draft. The only other "starting" positions that are up for grabs on the team are on ST. There is a really good chance that Ty Montgomery will be the guy returning KO's. There are about 7 guys who were on ST's last yr that aren't on the team anymore, including coach Slocum, because the Packers finished last in ST's in the league. The Packers were a bad 5 minutes from going to the Super Bowl last yr. w/ most of the plays that helped lose the game occurred due to ST play. ( Fake FG TD, 2 pt conversion, and botched onside kick) Are the Vikings an improved team and on the rise? I think so. Is there defense going to be good? I think so. But for you to become a Viking fan because your feelings are hurt that the Packers didn't draft the guys you wanted and you think you could do a better job is pretty arrogant, so good luck with your new team, I hope you look great wearing purple, and please change your avatar, right now you are still cross dressing.

I guess Ben knows more than the experts who don't have the Vikings winning more than 6 or 7 games this coming season . Bridgewater has to go deep more , that is a knock against him and a weak O line doesn't help .

Packer fans never leave, so Ben was never one. Therefore his rant is tainted and totally discounted.
