The Green Bay Packers have signed QB Matt Blanchard. The transaction was announced Wednesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Blanchard, a 6-foot-3, 223-pound second-year player out of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, was originally signed by the Chicago Bears as a non-drafted rookie free agent on May 14, 2012.
Blanchard was most recently with the Carolina Panthers, where he was on the practice squad in 2013. He was on injured reserve down in Carolina last year.
Here's some tape of Blanchard's glory days back at UW-Whitewater.

Looks like he's got a better arm than Flynn.

What are things that could be said about pretty much any other QB in the nfl. And a handful of WRs, too.

A lot of his throws were high. Receivers will get killed going over the middle in the NFL.
