Packers' Aaron Rodgers, John Kuhn Named First-Team All-Pro

Jordy Nelson and Josh Sitton were named second-team All-Pro by the Associated Press.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and fullback John Kuhn were named first-team All-Pro when the Associated Press released voting results on Friday.

Rodgers' touchdown-to-interception ratio of 38-to-5 was the best in the NFL, his passer rating (112.2) and yards per attempt (8.43) were second in the league, and he was seventh in yards (4,381).

Both Rodgers and Kuhn were recently named to the Pro Bowl. The All-Pro team is generally considered a higher honor, one not voted upon by biased fans.

Rodgers received 44 votes, ahead of other quarterbacks like Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys with three, Tom Brady of the New England Patriots with two and Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts with one.

Kuhn received 18 votes, ahead of Anthony Sherman of the Kansas City Chiefs with 14 and Marcel Reese of the Oakland Raiders with 12.

Wide receiver Jordy Nelson and guard Josh Sitton both received the third-most votes at their respective positions, becoming second-team All-Pro.

Nelson's 15 votes were behind only Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers (49) and Dez Bryant of the Cowboys (24).

Sitton's 22 votes were behind only Marshal Yanda of the Baltimore Ravens (38) and Zack Martin of the Cowboys (24).

Clay Matthews remarkably received votes at both outside linebacker (five) and inside linebacker (one).

The only other Packers players receiving votes were tackle Bryan Bulaga and center Corey Linsley, each with one.

Sitton screwed over again. Played half the season with a foot injury. He deserves better.

I agree, Sitton should have been 1st Team over Martin.

Amazing how under the radar Randall Cobb is. Guy had a huge year, arguably as good as Jordys. Taking nothing away from Nelson, I'm surprised how little praise Cobb gets. He has been virtually unguardable as of late.

That makes Zach Martin one heck of a 1st round pick. Linsley as a 5th rounder of course as well. I don't really think Sitton was screwed. When healthy he is an elite guard and should be in contention for all pro. With the injury, he had some things that he could not do as well as he normally could. Great player, great grit, great person, but the product on the field, while excellent, probably wasn't 1st team all pro caliber. There are 64 starting guards; coming in third seems really good.

Linsley got one All Pro vote. This future is bright.
