Suhspension. Guy is a prick. After watching Rodgers reaction he knew Suh trying to get him out of the game. Suh knew it too. Cadwell apparently doesn't realize what a bunch of dirtbags he inherited.

The fact that Suh didn't turn around and look at what just happened is the biggest indicator that he knew exactly what he did. It's a natural instinct when you step on something and are a bit off balance to move your feet quickly. He took his time, took another step backward then raised is other foot so his full weight was on Rodgers. The natural instinct would have been to pull his foot back up. That was not an accidental move.

So he will be fined some money but make millions in free agency. I hope the bidding teams will argue that his value is very decreased due to his liabilities. I don't think it will change him. This is probably pathological.

Anybody remember the old movie - The Longest Yard? They should have had Flynn go in for 1 series and throw one at his groin. Actually, Tolzien's arm is probably stronger. That's one replay that would never get boring!

You can clearly see him look down at his feet between the first and second steps. He knew what he was doing.

All of the above. And your natural reaction is to look backward, except of course he knew it was not a lion player

Yeah, but he is, so I'd have to become a Bears fan if he became a Packer. And that would be one pathetic experience.

As I said in the chips report Matt Flynn should get a bad/ugly nod. totally agree with Rodgers and Rodgers, glad to see R. Rodgers getting a nod after a nice game, and Hat's off to A. Rod for a gutty performance against a division foe. I doe wish A Rod could get away with kicking SuhZY in the Scrot for stepping on him like he did, (A-hole).

I'm with you in pulling for Tolzien, but slamming on Flynn for one series is just not fair.

I could not agree more, Mark. Flynn is no Aaron Rodgers, we all know that. What did anyone expect from him?

At least he didn't turn the ball over.

Is there any evidence that Tolzien is a significant upgrade over Flynn right now?

If Rodgers doesn't come back into the game, could Tolzien win it?

How can as fans have any evidence to cite regarding the abilities of Flynn and Tolzien: one hasn't played much and the other not at all. BTW, Flynn's passer rating was 91.7, which I find amusing.

Rodgers is unreal, and the front seven on defense looks as good as it has in years. No Giants, no Kaepernick. I like our chances.

Suh is a sociopath and it is surprising it has taken this long for him to lash out again. It is unfortunate but the NFL has shown a pattern of tolerating this type of behavior in the past. With everything that has happened regarding the NFL during the season this incident may trigger a more harsh punishment. Then again it wouldn't surprise me if the league just looked the other way.

Buck and Aikman seemed to look aside. Mentioned it a bit and moved on. The refs just weren't looking. But, this was egregious. Suh Sux. I hope the league steps up, but I'm not holding my breath. I used to feel big brotherly toward the lions. Now, I wish this team the worst.

Hey 4and1, I couldn't agree more. I'm concerned about up the middle, have been for some time. I wish we had 1 Mean Bastard on GB. How do the Lions get away with Sue. I'd like to have a guy like Ross Verba again. He would have gotten Sue, one way or another. I know, We don't want players like that, but it sure would be nice to see someone pay him back. We owe him. He wouldn't have gotten away with that years ago. LVT

Lacy belongs in the good regardless of the fumble. Eddie gained 100 yards, something like 68 after contact. The Lions entered the game with the 6th best run defense in NFL History (As far as yards per game) and Eddie was a Beast!

Lacy was the only RB all year to hit 100 yards vs Detroit. Great effort by the o-line and Lacy. Throw in some nice runs by Starks in limited carries and the run game chipped in huge when they needed it most.

So here's what I'm wondering. If Suh gets suspended for the game against Dallas, how much money does it cost him on his next contract? You pick up a guy with his track record, you have to believe that the league will not give him the benefit of the doubt on anything.

Bad: Shawn Slocum. Please make this his last year.

No way they will suspend Sue. The NFL is about $$ and they won't want to mess up a big game by taking out a great player. Probably won't even fine him because they would have to admit it wasn't an accident. If he touches Romo, however, Jerry Jones will have him banned for life since he owns the league.

You are right on in regards what would happen if he plays dirty (again) against the Cowboys. When you have players consistently fined/suspended for player safety violations you need to start fining the Head Coach each time, he is the one RESPONSIBLE for keeping the idiots on the field.

The play was dirty as hell by a man that doesn't give a crap about anyone other than himself, not his teammates, no one. Not once but twice he stepped back but what made it obvious (If it wasn't already) was he never looked back, even when Rodgers hit him on that giant rear end. He didn't look back or down to see what he was stepping on. I thought he'd be suspended but at the start of next season. Makes me wonder what Jones said to Goodell because you KNOW there was a phone call by Jerry.

Word is no suspension. If the NFL really wanted to whack Suh, they'd suspend him for the first two games of next season, when his game check is much higher than now.

And now for something different:

Nobody really commenting on the major screwups by Morgan Burnett yesterday. Just missed getting burned for a real game changer early on and numerous misplays. Gotta clean it up for the next round.

Barrington and Boyd really stepping up and providing a strong foundation for the defensive schemes. Guion a beast. Clinton-Dix quietly had a great game.

Adams (and Boykin) non-existent on offense and rarely open--playoffs children--Step It Up. Can't believe Mike never released "The Janis". (Mr. Bostick, paging Mr. Bostick....)

LOVE how stout Linsley has been (now less FOR A ROOKIE!!) but I have to say I'm sad that we may never know how good Tretter would have been. In preseason he was onto his second level block on almost every play. OL played entire game! (Bakhtiari was team season leader playing 1027 snaps!)

Wouldn't it have been great to have Raji coming back off IR right now?????

I think it's unfair to say Morgan "just missed getting burned" when he played a part in breaking up the pass. Sure he had his mess ups in the game, but you can't deny his level of play compared to last season's.

I think Guion is showing up more than any other DL not named Daniels. You can even argue that to an extent. Another solid find for TT.

I'm more disappointed in Boykin. MM sure had a lot to say about him this offseason. I expected big things too. You would assume he'd be able to flourish in a role where he's not a top 2 option. I do hope we keep him though.

I remember debating with Stroh about Bahk. You know a O-Linemen is doing his job when you rarely hear his number or name called. Bahk can really be the future. As for Linsley. That Center position is his to lose. As long as he continues to grow as a player - he can become an All-Pro.

Here's a tricky scenario: Say Raji's injury wasn't season ending and you had to choose between Raji and Tretter for IR w/possibility to return. Who do you choose?

The lolion organization is pretty fuckin dumb. They will get no respect from the rest of the league because they keep doing this. Time to clean house and change the culture. I guess its what you get when you keep drafting prima donna high draft picks. Spoiled in college and think they can get away with anything. Maybe dirtbag Riola can take his place on defense and keep the tradition going. lolions suck.
