Here are some trade packages I think could happen:

Raiders get: QB Aaron Rodgers
Packers get: 2023 2nd and 3rd round picks and 2024 1st and 5th round picks

Jets get: QB Aaron Rodgers, LT David Bakhtiari, 2024 3rd round pick
Packers get: 2023 1st and 2nd round picks, 2024 conditional 1st round pick (that depends on whether the Jets make the playoffs and if Rodgers plays next year) and a 2024 5th round pick, and TE Tyler Conklin

I would be surprised if LV would be willing to give up their first round pick. If so that's great, but I'm not sure if they will. Personally, I also would avoid trading for Darren Waller. He is 30, oft-injured, not a great blocker, and would take on lots of cap room. He would only work if we wanted to go all-in (which is a bad idea right now)

Yes! Avoid players in return. Most will negatively impact the cap, and--frankly--diminish upside on the next Packers window.

If Rodgers retires, so be it.

However, I firmly believe he doesn't want to be stuck in Tom Brady's shadow, yet again, by retiring in the same year. Think about it. Rodgers looks small standing next to Tom Brady. That is so not happening!

Jets or Raiders? I think that's what this comes down to, and both are white hot to obtain his services in their uniform for 2023-2024.

Word is out that Rodgers has emerged from his underground cabin in a remote part of Oregon. No word on his thoughts yet.

Despite that, plenty of others have opined. McGinn. Pelissero. Mark Kelko says he doesn't see the Jets as a fit for AR, and prefers Darek Carr.

He might want to look at Carr's record in below 40 degree temps. In those 10 games:

2-8 record
384 attempts
218 completions.
2,148 yds
11 TD
12 INT
1 rush TD
7 fumbles (3 lost)
12 total TD/15 total TO
214 yds/game
5.6 yds/att
56.8% Comp%
69.2 Passer Rating

BOTH the Jets and the Raiders want AR badly. What happens in such scenarios? The price goes up. Jason & Mark also mentioned NE and TEN as possibilities to enter the Rodgers Sweepstakes. Hell, I just read Dallas is a likely possibility in the NFC, while these guys mention WAS.

We'll see. I'll be shocked if he retires alongside Tom Brady. I'll be shocked if he returns to GB, because the Packers would lose out on their last opportunity to cash in... and so much more. More than half the Packers fan base will be up in arms if they fail to cash in now, prolonging the inevitable while sinking the future of the team.

Setting our team's future back until sometime in 2025 or beyond is not in any fan's wheelhouse.

Mark Murphy better get it together... soon. They'll have to eat some cap, but, who cares? They'll be getting their future back, that of the Green Bay Packers, with their arms loaded with picks. Yes, all the picks prognosticators say they'll never get.

The Jets look prime for Rodgers. So do the Raiders. Belichick??? Holy crap. Hadn't considered that one, but, I could see it. Lastly, let's not forget his new home construction in Nashville... as mention by the boys here.

My money is on NYJ. Top 5 defense already in place, with top skill position players, and an owner who promises Rodgers the world. Whatever he can do to win a Super Bowl now is Woody Johnson's quest. He has the money and the will to do whatever it takes to get there, as stated publicly last weekend to his fan base.

Think he goes back on that? Think he's going to allow himself to be outbid? Outbid by 3 other AFC foes??? The Jets have picks to deal, their own 1s and 2s for the next 4 years. Woody will blow TEN out of the water should they offer their two R1s (11+15) and an R2 for 2023.

The bidding war will likely happen, causing the number of prime picks to climb in the Packers' favor. Add in a package deal with Bakhtiari? wow. The potential of what’s in play could prove to be very good for the Packers, especially if they consider offers from NFC teams.
