I listened to the whole podcast and I’m 100% with ya. The window is closed in GB. 1) It takes a team to win a SB and you’re right 2020 was the window. If he stays….there is no way to plug holes team-wide that’s going to get this team to a championship. They’re not going to be able to fill all the holes with draft picks and FAs to accommodate an aging QB. For aging QBs you need an Oline that can maul and give a QB all day ( some of the lines that come to mind are the lines that Brady and Manning were afforded most of their careers——-We don’t have that kind of Oline) ….there just simply won’t be room. We had to play a almost 40 yr old TE in mercedes lewis just to keep our oline together…which is ridiculous all in itself. You also need a punishing running game….we’re close but not quite there. He needs to go to a team that’s already built…like what TB did. I’ve seen all the young coachable kids do well in the playoffs and I want to see a LaFluer team with no AR. He doesn’t run much, not fond of QB sneaks. Still holds the ball etc… I appreciate everything he did for GB. But I have mentally checked out with him. It’s time to rip the bandaid off. Because next year, the year after this team isn’t going to a SB. If he goes to another team and absolutely lights it up I’ll be happy for him. But it’s time to continue building this young team with another QB.

Packer fan since 1957. Whether during the Lombardi years and the Favre and Rodgers years or the desolation of the '70s and '80s, I followed and cheered intensely every week for a Packer W.
Lately, however, I have become totally lukewarm toward this franchise. I watched the Lion game as if it were no different from any other game on the NFL schedule. Whereas it used to take me a couple days to recover from a critical loss, I felt very little reaction.
I have come to this point in response to the Packer big wigs allowing Rodgers to take the franchise hostage with his ridiculous contract, his passive-aggressive comments about some of his teammates, his refusal to accept accountability for his failures (recent NFC Championship games and the Detroit game especially), and his drama of "will I or won't I play again next year".
The decision makers blew it by insisting Rodgers "gives us the best chance to win" and deciding he deserves a salary cap crushing salary to honor us with his return. Meanwhile all we can do is speculate what Jordan Love might bring to the table.
I would very much prefer to return to passionately rooting for the only NFL team I have ever followed. Once Rodgers takes his salary and attitude elsewhere those glorious and enjoyable days will return.

Absolutely. I had the same reaction to this season. I just felt it was doomed from the start. I followed the scores online and listened to the reactions but never even saw a game this year.

Thanks for posting that Bill.
I went to my first Packers game in October 1956 and have been a diehard fan ever since.
My feelings right now are pretty much the same as yours.
If I was able to write as eloquently as you I would pretty much have written the same words.
Maybe it has something to do with being old😂.

The only rub is that emotional one.
