Nick Perry, Mike Neal Return to Packers Practice
Packers practice update: Neal n Perry returned so only player not practicing is Matthews, who is out
— Pete Dougherty (@PeteDougherty) January 2, 2014
Both Neal and Perry were listed in Wednesday's report under "did not participate." Eddie Lacy was in pads and also participated in Thursdays practice. For the past couple of weeks, Lacy has not practiced on a Thursday since week 14.

they need them both to play very well. Make or break game for Dom Capers.

Really? I don't see Dom going anywhere. They love him because he can run a cheapo defense that doesn't require high priced defensive ends.
That is why they run the 3-4 to save money. The 3-4 can work with quick linemen and fast linebackers, we lack both however so Dom stays.

Your Full Of Shit!!! Packers are more than willing to pay top shelf players, or didn't you notice the extensions to Matthews and Rodgers this past offseason? Take your made up bag of CRAP somewhere else!

If those two don't send a shiver down the spines of the Niners'...the weather hasn't a chance.

Neither is any good at all in space - especially when hurt. If I'm SF, I make them cover and tackle as much as I can.

Actually, both are terrible in space and not really that affective rushing the passer. Or tackling the RB. Or really anything for that matter.

How many freeeeking times has both of these guys been on the injured list. It just never ends.
Its just me, but I will believe Worthy, Datone J and Perry are draft busts until I see otherwise.
Datone had a total of 8 tackles going into game 12.

you could be right but it's way too early to tell. if you remember back, nick collins was horrible for the first few years he was a packer and eventually became one of the best safeties in the game. patience.....

Sharper's career trajectory was very similar to Nick's too.

In practice on Thursday. Listed as DNP on Friday doesn't bode well for Sunday.

I would really like to see Mike Neal just crush Kaepernick early and take away his enthusiasm to run with the ball. No biceps flexing at Lambeau today!

It takes more than just athleticism for a safety or a defensive lineman to be successful. It takes time and experience.
Patience, people.
Instead of expecting each rookie crop to contribute heavily, look for the second, third, and fourth year guys to step up. And so on.

Mike Neal, the definition of durability. Or lack thereof.
