NFL Announces Preseason Schedule

The Packers will play their first two preseason games on the road and their second two at Lambeau Field.

The NFL has released the Packers' preseason opponents.

They are as follows:

Aug. 13-17 at New England

Aug. 20-24 at Pittsburgh

Aug. 27-30 Home vs. Eagles

Sept. 3-4 Home vs. Saints

There is a chance the Packers could participate in a week of join practices with the Patriots the week leading up to the first preseason game. New England has held them with one preseason opponent the last few years.

McCarthy has been known not to be a fan of joint practice sessions, but he may reconsider if it's Bill Belichick asking.

First reg season is the following week. The "opening night" would be the 10th in this case.

Reg season schedule usually released after the draft.

The last pre season game is on a Thursday/Friday, giving everybody a little better than a week to heal up for the opener... unless you're playing the Thursday night opener.

2-2. the Lolions are usually pre-season champs. The year they went 0-16, they were 4-0 in PS.
