More Images Of Lambeau Field Expansion
As part of a survey of season-ticket holders, the Packers sent images of some of their proposed ideas for additions to Lambeau Field.
As part of the survey the Green Bay Packers sent to season ticket holders, it included a couple images not previously published in other media outlets of an artist's rendition of some of the concepts presented for the expansion of Lambeau Field.
Below is a picture of the proposed standing-room only area in the south endzone.
Next is the concept for the new entryway in the north endzone area of Lambeau Field coupled with an image of a proposed party deck area immediately under the scoreboard and accessible to only indoor season-ticket holders.
Construction of the north-side gate is slated to begin in 2012 with the south endzone in 2013 or later.
Don Walker of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported earlier today that the Packers would finance the project on their own and seek no taxpayer help.

While I like these expansion ideas, I'm pretty sure I want to get my first visit to Lambeau Field in before this gets started!

my two cents: they are missing some kind of gimmick, ala bernie brewer, or the tampa pirate ship, or musketeers like gillette. Must be something they can derive from the lambeau leap and scale it up. Then it can be sponsored by LeRoy Butler Ford ;)

I'm outraged! Outraged, I tell you! This money should all go to the poor players, who are routinely exploited by the owners, including the Packers who are a public trust.

I absolutely love the new look and enclosing the south side will only keep the already loud stadium noise inside. We will have our own "12th" man!!! GO Pack GO!! Let them Play!
