Mike McCarthy: Josh Sitton Practiced in a Limited Fashion

McCarthy confirmed Sitton practiced but did not do any team drills on Thursday.

Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy met with the media on Thursday in advance of the upcoming game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

The following are select comments from his press conference:

  • On the status of his starting guards: Josh Sitton and T.J. Lang practiced in a limited fashion. They did not do any of the team drills.
  • On whether the Packers have watched film from last year's game with the Eagles: It's part of the breakdown, our last game with the Eagles … Their coaches are the same this year as last year. It's definitely something we've looked at.
  • On Darren Sproles: Big time. Darren Sproles has done it for a long time in this league, dynamic player.
  • On Sproles' size: I think he does a great job of playing to his skill set. He has a very unique skill set. If you talking about his height, he's so quick and explosive. I've aways found him to be very instinctive. He's been an excellent player in this league for a long time.
  • On whether there's an advantage to playing at Lambeau Field in cold weather: I think you have an advantage playing at home. You play to your environment. You play to your home field, whether you're in Miaim or you're at Lambeau Field. … I think pro football has been so competitive, partity has been in this league for a long time.
  • On when there's a good time to call a screen pass: A good time to call a screen is when the defensive end flies up the field, that helps. … Philosophically, why you call it or why you don't, is for the play-callers.
  • On practicing outside: The first time out is a little bit of an adjustment. Frankly, yesterday I think being out yesterday helped us. … We had to switch fields today, which is a couple weeks earlier than normal.
  • On Clark Hinkle Field: Hinkle's frozen. It's officially frozen.
  • On whether Clay Matthews likes playing inside linebacker: Talked to Clay before the decision was made. He played extremely well. We'll see where he plays this week.
  • On Jeremy Maclin: Good player. Very good player, Jeremy Maclin.
  • On what he remembers about Jamon Meredith in 2009: Meredith, just a young guy. He's more comfortable. It's good to have him back. … This time of year, you can never have enough big men.
  • On the Eagles' penchant for forcing fumbles: Defnitely. We recognize that when you do an overview. … We definitely recognize their ability to take it away.

On the CMtres experiment. Give me a hustling, athletic, demolition, heat-seeking flowing mane satyr beastman on the inside anytime. Just run everything down, He was born to play this role.

And at the end of the night, he was as disruptive in the backfield as he has been all year long. Plus, for giggles he still gets to run around at OLB too.

When he's inside could it be we have what Carolina has with Kuechly?

Just watching his violence, athleticism, hustle, and intensity compared to anyone else that GB has at ILB is ....shocking.

the ease that some companies do not provide some fashion ideas or suggestions. But some companies like http://milanfashionweek.buzz/ are doing that stuff for their customers. This eases customers.
