Mike McCarthy Helps Raise More Than $425,000 for Children's Hospital

Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy helped raise more than $425,000 for the American Family Children's Hospital in Madison during his annual fundraiser, according to an article published by the hospital on Monday.

“Our family is committed to American Family Children’s Hospital patients and families for the long term,” McCarthy is quoted as saying. “We’re gratified to have the generous support of the community.”

McCarthy hosted a celebrity dinner on Sunday and golf invitational on Monday along with his wife Jessica.

In five years holding the event, the McCarthy family has raised over $1.2 million for the cause.

That is awesome.

I know a few families that have went there and they absolutely loved their experience with the Children's hospital, even in the most difficult times in their lives.

Great to see McCarthy and whoever else was involved raising almost a 1/2 million for the Children's hospital.
