I'm really starting to wonder who our backup PR is.

KR will be Franklin, but PR???

Jason Wilde assumes Franklin and Myles White will get return duties - didn't specify which one, though.

Franklin has no PR experience. He would be the KR for sure. Don't know what experience White has as a return man, but he fits the mold of a PR, not KR. Franlin KR and White PR.

Yeah. That would be my guess...

I thought White might be a good PR, but I don't know if he has any experience at all...

Franklin will definitely be the KR.

Put Cobb back there in motorized wheelchair ... Better than what's left in the scrap heap

Oh here is a serious question pointed at MM. Why is Jonathan Franklin NOT being use in some fashion. Get him in space and let him work his magic. Sure he fumbled the ball away a couple of times does that means he gets 1000 lashes withe a wet noodle and forced to sit the rest of the year.

MM always said we will adjust to put our talented players in situation to be successful!!

Franklin won't get used on offense the rest of the year IMO. He cost the Cincy game and got his 1000 lashes for it. McCarthy gave him a 2nd chance and he fumbled again the very next game! He's on the bench for the year unless injuries force him into action. He's a ST player now and that's it... Hell he even lost the KR job, why would McCarthy feel the need to get Franklin touches? 2 RB are better and more reliable ball handlers and at least one KR is better (Hyde) tho barely. With Hyde hurting Franklin is getting his 2nd chance on KR. He better make the most of it or he won't have any role the rest of the year!

There is no good reason for not playing Franklin more on offense. Sure hes fumbled twice but Tolzien has thrown 5 INTs in two games yet hes still starting.

Mike McCarthy just doesn't know how to use a guy like Franklin, we could have Darren Sproles in his prime and Mike wouldn't even use the guy unless he was forced to.

Stroh- wait, so you think Franklin lost the cincy game and doesn't deserve to play the rest of the year because of it? No way. This is the first you have mentioned it. /sarcasm

Maybe this week against the vikings isn't the time, but I like Barnwell's idea of a David strategy. When you are an underdog or outmatched against an opponent (like GB w/o Arod against most opponents) then you should try some things to level the playing field. I think the fact that there is not much tape on Franklin, that could be a curveball. I hope they at least use him on 5-10 plays against the lions...

Stroh, I don't know if you heard McCarthy's press conference the other day.
When asked about Lacy hitting the rookie wall, he said no he hasn't hit a wall, then he said that he does want to get the other RB's more involved, and that a guy that he has neglected in opportunity is Franklin. By his comments I am expecting them to use Franklin more starting this week.

I know your not a huge Franklin fan, but you know I am. I do hope to see him play a lot more. I really think he could be an asset especially in the passing game. I would love to see them, use him in a similar way that Reggie Bush and Darren Sproles in the passing game out of the backfield.

I know not everyone wants to see that, but I do...

Personally, I think if another RB needs to be more involved its Starks. He's shown more than Franklin and hasn't had any trouble w/ ball security.

I didn't hear McCarthy say what he did, but he says a lot of things. During the season he might even say something like that to plant a seed in the opponents mind. We'll see if it turns out to be true or not.

I'm still looking forward to Franklin being a valuable role player, I just don't think it'll be this year.

So has Lacy... But in MUCH more snaps and NOT in 2 consecutive games after he got preached the importance of ball security for costing the Cincy game.

Not playing Franklin is another example of MM's stubbornness. Franklin should get 8 to 10 snaps a game (not necessarily touches) due to his different skill set. Not as bad an example of stubbornness as I agree with Stroh that Lacy and Starks are a good 1-2 punch. One of Franklin's fumbles was just one of those things - defensive player hit the football hard with his helmet. Lots of RBs would have fumbled in that situation.

Franklin has shown butter type fingers all season. I like the guy too but trust me when I say it's going to be fucking cold out Sunday in Lambeau. You do NOT want Franklin anywhere near the football in this game. I don't even like Lacy handling it. 22 degrees!! These two rookie rb's have never played in this type of cold weather. The only guy who has is The Buffalo Bruiser Mr. James Starks. I'd get him more involved in this game. Franklin would be perfect for Detroit on Thanksgiving!! I'd like to see Franklin and Sherrod for sure involved in the Detroit game.
