Lattimore Signs Participation Agreement to Take Part in Packers Offseason Program
Packers linebacker Jamari Lattimore may not have signed a contract with the Packers yet, but he is taking part in the team's offseason workout program. Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports:
(Jamari) Lattimore has until May 2 to receive an offer from another team, so it's not surprising he hasn't signed. He reported for the first day of off-season workouts even though he isn't signed to a contract. The collective bargaining agreement allows players to sign an off-season workout program and minicamp participation agreement, which protects him in case he is injured.
Kudos to Lattimore for getting ready for the 2014 season along with his teammates while he waits to sign his contract.
