Jarrett Boykin Reportedly Gets Less Than Half of Lowest Tender Amount
Newly signed Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jarrett Boykin received less than half the lowest restricted free agent tender amount in his new contract, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com:
Former #Packers WR Jarrett Boykin's deal with the Panthers was one-year, $700,000 with a $20,000 signing bonus.

As a player entering his fourth season in the NFL, Packers declined to offer Boykin the lowest tender amount worth $1.5 million before the start of free agency earlier this offseason.
Boykin's signing with the Panthers comes on the heels of a 2014 season in which he caught just three passes for 23 yards.
In 2013, Boykin caught a career-high 49 passes for 681 yards and three touchdowns.

It's still about $234,000 a catch, based on 2014 production.

I don't believe this to be true - but what if it was just a fluke?
