Harrell May Not Suit Up Opening Day

In the continuing saga that is the Coddling Of Justin Harell, his position coach, Carl Hariston confirms that his conditioning is still wanting and that there's every possibility the Packer's first round pick may be a healthy scratch from the opening day 53 man roster.

With the emergence of Johnny Jolly and Corey Williams, one can't help but wonder if Ted Thompson is indeed considering a trade, despite his statements to the contrary. I realize talented big men are a rare commodity and are prized more than gold, but at what point does having that gold sitting on the sidelines while other areas of your team suffer start to depreciate in value? I'm not saying I have the answer, but for a team that's counting on a third year player that wasn't drafted and is on his third team (Atari Bigby, for those of you playing at home) to solve its problems in the secondary, it would seem to make a lot of sense to see if there's another team around the league that maybe has the same sort of embarrassment of riches at the safety position.
