Former Packers Assistant Appeals "Bountygate" Suspension

Former Packers assistant Joe Vitt and Saints head coach Sean Payton are appealing their suspensions from the NFL.

Saints linebackers coach Joe Vitt was an assistant with the Green Bay Packers in 1999 under head coach Ray Rhodes. He along with Saints head coach Sean Payton are reportedly appealing their suspension for their part in "Bountygate."

Saints LB coach Joe Vitt also is appealing his six-game suspension, according to his attorney David Cornwell. No appeal date set yet.
