First Contestant...

...in the great ongoing Right Tackle search

T.J. Lang.

Now, this is rookie camp. SOMEONE has to play right tackle. But there were questions regarding where the Packers' planned on playing Lang due to the fact that he lined up at all five spots in the Texas vs. the Nation game. It would seem he's at least going to be in the early mix to compete for the starting right tackle spot.

Go get 'em T.J.

No doubt that GB would love if Lang could overwhelm all other contestants.

After much research I can readily conclude the following:

GB will be the first team in NFL history to have an AJ, BJ, CJ, GJ & now a TJ in their starting line-up. - It must mean something.

All they need is a DJ and they can get the party started.

See what I did there.

I've picked Lang as my rookie contributor for 2009. Now, based on my rate of success with my yearly picks, I may be jinxing him. I sincerely hope not. There is mutual need here and if nothing else, he'll push others like Giocomini and Barbre to excel. We could have a really good OL this year but one of them must make the move up.

So much for that . Word from Bedard is that he will be at guard only.
