I can appreciate that Rodgers wants continuity.

However, I think we can all agree that TT does not change his methodology based on what his QB likes or doesn't like. I think he has a long history of proving that true.

I agree - continuity was probably the single biggest argument for keeping EDS. But in the grand scheme of things, that's not a very good one.

EDS is not the issue, as far as I'm concerned. I fall to the side that EDS was nothing special but even if he was something special, Rodgers has no business opening this trap. Players play, coaches coach and GMs handle personnel moves.

TT gets plenty of criticism and 2nd guessing. It's part of the job. But he doesn't need someone from within throwing fuel on the fire.

TT doesn't go around bemoaning missed throws and interceptions. Rodgers ought to extend that same level of professionalism.

That may seem a bit harsh but the last time the Packers QB decided to throw in his 2 cents on personnel moves, it turned really ugly. I don't want to ever go through that again.

Mr. Scorpio: I think that EDS was just relating what Rodgers said to him upon hearing the news that he was leaving. Even if he was the worst center in the world and a huge detriment to AR, I would expect him to say something like that to a friend. He was not blasting management publicly as far as I can tell.

He was relating a private conversation, I think. Of course he's going to tell his buddy that he hates to see him go. #12 is a pro's pro. You don't have to worry about him opening his trap. As he said to Pam Oliver, "Sshhhh."

Tretters never played professional football and he's never played center. But he better be good and he better be healthy and he better not get Rodgers hurt.

I don't know why fans are given Ben V all the thumbs down for saying the obvious. The Packers have the best QB in the game and we all saw last year what happens when Rodgers goes down. Tretter broke his ankle by what, 11:30 am the first day of team activities? Before that he had his nose busted by Sheldon Richardson at a practice before the Senior Bowl and missed that game too. We just don't know much about the kid other than he must be pretty bright since he went to Cornell. I had read he was working with a former NFL Center before the draft last year. He's said to have a bit of a mean streak, gotta love that.

Well, no shit, he's never played professional football. No college play has , DUH. The only thing EDS will be remembered for is Suh stomping on his arm.
