Please welcome @KCone12, @M_Rios5 and @JRodgers11 to the Miami Dolphins! #FinsUp

Jordan Rodgers played college ball at Vanderbilt, and junior college Butte Community College, before entering the NFL in 2013. He went undrafted and was signed by Jacksonville but was released before the season started. He joined Tampa Bay's practice squad in October 2013, where he stayed for the rest of the season. The Buccannears released Rodgers after the season.

A nice post, Tom. As the youngest of 4, I agree with you. I suppose the editor wants to make it clear in the headline why packer fans should be interested, but still.

Agreed. But the truly annoying headlines are more like: NFL player gets DUI. I have to click on it to see if its a packer, only to find its some practice squad player for some other team and that I never heard of the guy.

There is nothing wrong with the headline. If it had said "Dolphins sign Jordan Rodgers," I would've have thought "Who? You mean Aaron Rodgers' brother? Oh, why didn't you just say so?" This is a Packers blog, it is not unreasonable for a headline to state how the article relates to the Packers.
