Aaron Rodgers Opening Milwaukee-Area Restaurant

The Packers quarterback is teaming up with Milwaukee Brewers star Ryan Braun to open up a new restaurant in Brookfield, Wis.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is joining forces with Milwaukee Brewers star Ryan Braun in opening a Milwaukee-area restaurant, according to ESPNWisconsin.com.

"The Milwaukee-based SURG Restaurant Group announced today that Rodgers and Braun will team up on a new restaurant called 8*twelve," reads the article. "The restaurant, located at 17800 W. Bluemound Rd. in Brookfield, will offer family cuisine as well as steaks and seafood with much of Executive Chef Aaron Patin’s preparation taking place on a wood fire grill, a center point of the kitchen."

The articles indicates that both Rodgers and Braun will make scheduled and unscheduled appearances at 8*twelve throughout the year.

The restaurant opens in June.

At least this didn't happen a few years ago.

I would have loved to see the ESPN head-to-head comparison of 8*twelve vs Brett Favre Steakhouse.
