Aaron Rodgers Nominated for Air NFL Player of the Year

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been nominated for the Air NFL Player of the Year Award.

Rodgers threw for 4,381 yards and 38 touchdowns for a 112.2 passer rating in 2014. He was nominted for the Air NFL Player of the Week Award five times this season, winning twice (Weeks 10 and 11).

Competiton for Rodgers are quarterbacks Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Andrew Luck of the Indianpolis Colts.

The winner will be determined by online fan vote at NFL.com/FedEx. Polling will remain open through Thursday Jan. 29. The winner will be recognized on the 4th Annual NFL Honors awards show on Saturday Jan. 31 on NBC, the night before Super Bowl XLIX.

If Rodgers wins, FedEx will make a $25,000 donation in his name to the team's local area chapter of the American Red Cross to assist with disaster relief and preparedness.
