Aaron Rodgers Named Air NFL Player of the Week

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been named the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week for his performance this past Sunday.

Rodgers won an online fan vote against competition from Jay Cutler of the Chicago Bears and Drew Stanton of the Arizona Cardinals.

This marks the second consecutive week Rodgers won the award.

In a 53-20 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, Rodgers completed 22 of 36 passes for 341 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions, good for a passer rating of 120.3.

Rodgers also set NFL records by throwing 322 pass attempts and 29 touchdowns without an interception at home, two streaks without equal in league history.

Thanks to Rodgers' win, a $2,000 donation will be made in the quarterback's name to the Green Bay chapter of the American Red Cross.

PS Very cool what he and the Packers did for the young boy with a rare disease. Real Class act.

How does Rodgers compare to Brady, Manning, Brees and others for winning this award?

It would be interesting to see where Rodgers ranks amongst current active QB's.
