Aaron Rodgers Installed as New Favorite for NFL MVP Award

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was listed as the new favorite for the NFL's MVP Award on Wednesday, according to online oddsmaker Bovada.lv.

For the first time this season, Rodgers was listed with the lowest odds (11-10) to win the award, ahead of last week's leader, Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, currently at 9-2 odds.

Rounding out the top six are Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt (5-1), New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (6-1), Dallas Cowboys running back Demarco Murray (10-1) and Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck (10-1).

The odds of the Packers winning the Super Bowl also improved, dropping from 15-2 to 9-2 over the course of the past week, after dispatching the Philadelphia Eagles 53-20 this past Sunday.

Only the Patriots have lower odds (4-1) to win the Super Bowl.

The Packers are also the odds-on favorite to win the NFC at 2-1 odds, ahead of the Arizona Cardinals (9-2).
